The PRE has, therefore, sought out close cooperation with IT competence leaders right from the start. Through workshops with experts from research, business, and politics, the PRE is developing settlement concepts that adequately serve these technologies.

The high density of IT companies is creating an enormous synergy potential: Highly significant for this was the fact that the two Fraunhofer institutes IESE and ITWM as well as other software engineering and industrial and applied mathematics companies have established themselves here.
